Dave Russell.
Dave is the co-founder and managing director of Hol-Den Installations Limited. A qualified architect, Dave is the driving force behind the company’s success. Dave began his career in EG Pettits, the engineering and consulting firm before establishing Holden Installations Limited in 1986. After 20 years of dealing with the food, pharma and hygiene industries, Dave is uniquely placed to offer comprehensive solutions to companies in these sectors. As managing director, Dave has overseen every project, the largest of which include Glenman (external cladding) and Keepak (meat processing).
Ken Pollard
Ken has been with Hol-Den Installations Limited for ten years. He is the lead Project Manager- Food. With a science degree and numerous years’ expertise, Ken has advised and consulted with the giants of the food industry in Ireland. Ken’s recent customers include the multinationals AIBP, Manor Foods, Kerry Group and Irish Country Meats. However, as well as dealing with the multinational companies in the industry, Ken has also dealt with the indigenous but equally important companies like Bantry Bay Seafoods and Shanonvale Foods.
Damian Duffy
Damian joined Hol-Den Installations in 1999. He is an engineering graduate of Trinity College Dublin and worked for several years as a project engineer in Henkel Loctite in Dublin. Damian’s broad client base includes companies in the food sector – William Carr & Sons, Dairygold, Green Isle Foods, Pepsi, and also the medical device and pharmaceutical sector – Eli Lilly, Wyeth Medica, Gerard Laboratories, Waters Technologies and Creganna Medical Devices. With the increasing demand for research and development laboratories by the larger multi national companies and the ever increasing and stringent hygiene standards, Damian is in a unique position to offer comprehensive advice on the installation and design of temperature controlled rooms and clean rooms for the pharma sector.
David James Russell
David is the son of Dave and an entrepreneur in his own right. David owns and manages his own company Thermo Door Limited. David was appointed to the Board of Directors of Hol-Den Installations Limited in 2007. A graduate of marketing from Cork Institute of Technology, David’s remit is to increase the markets awareness of Hol-Den Installations Limited and to manage the anticipated growth of the company in the next few years. As a director of his own company, David brings a wealth of experience to the Board and an understanding of how small companies can excel- by keeping things simple.
Micheál O’ Callaghan.
A Commerce Graduate from UCC and a Chartered Accountant, Mícheál joined Hol-Den Installations Limited as financial controller in 2006. Having trained with James Byrne & Co. in Mallow, Mícheál went on to join KPMG in Dublin for 2 years before returning to Cork as an audit manager with Deloitte & Touche for four years. His diverse experience in practice dealing with food and pharma companies makes him a welcome addition to Hol-Den Installations Limited. In 2007, Mícheál was appointed to the Board of the company as Finance Director and Company Secretary.
